RETURN/EXCHANGE/WARRANTY POLICY


 

If you purchased an affiliate product, please see this page.  The policy below only applies to LD West branded products.

Please note that we will require your original order number to process a return, exchange or warranty claim which can be found on the confirmation email you received after placing an order. We cannot issue any returns or exchanges without the original order number. Buyer is responsible for all shipping related fees. No exceptions.
We do not provide return labels!


All international orders shipped outside of Canada or the continental US States are final sale, no exchange, no warranty. This also applies to Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Puerto Rico, British Virgin Islands, etc.

Warranty

Warranties are only applicable to LD West branded items. Affiliate products do not have any warranty. You have 60 calendar days from the original invoice date to make a warranty claim. Feel free to email us at contact@ldwest.com regarding any warranty questions or concerns you may have. You will be responsible to pay the shipping charges for all approved warranty claims. Normal "wear and tear" of materials and textiles are not covered under the warranty or exchange policy as "wear and tear" can be caused differently by every user which may include discoloration, fading, chipping, peeling, scratches, etc. (not limited to). We reserve the right to deny any warranty claim or exchange of an item (including holsters and holster parts and accessories), if the proper care and maintenance has not been followed. Only one claim can be made per original order, per item. All apparel and hats are final sale and do not have a warranty.

All clearance items, warehouse clearance items, heavily discounted sale items (over 15% off the regular retail price such as Black Friday, Boxing Day, Anniversary Sales, Groomsmen deals, etc) as is items and final sale items are not eligible for warranty or exchanges, no exceptions.

 

Returns (Continental US & Canada Only)

You have 7 calendar days to return an item for a refund (minus the shipping charges) from the day you received your item based on the tracking information of your package. After 7 calendar days, you are eligible for an exchange or in-store credit only (see Exchange policy below). All shipping related charges are non refundable and we do not provide return labels. You are responsible to cover the cost of shipping to send the item(s) back.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same brand new condition as when you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. There is a $12 USD restocking fee per item returned - this fee will be deducted from your invoice total.

If you received “Free Shipping” with your order, we will deduct our regular ground shipping rates from your invoice total.  If you purchased package insurance and/or express shipping, these fees are non refundable from the original invoice total. If you upgraded or paid for express shipping, we will deduct our express shipping rates from your refund.

Please mark any return items as "retail purchase return" on the customs declaration forms (US only). We will deny any package with any fees owing and you will be contacted and required to pay these additional fees before we can accept your package. We can only accept packages from the USA shipped with USPS only when sending item(s) back to Canada. We do not provide return labels and we will deny your package if there are brokerage fees or duties when being sent with FedEx, UPS or DHL for example. USPS does not charge brokerage fees.  If duties are owed upon receiving your item, we will deduct these fees from your invoice total. If your return package is lost during shipping, we will not issue any refunds or exchanges, no exceptions. It will be your responsibility to receive a refund from USPS, Canada Post or any other shipping courier you have chosen to send your package back if it has been lost during transit. A tracking number is mandatory when sending a return package.

Please email CONTACT@LDWEST.COM for further instructions on how to return your item. Do NOT ship your item back before getting return instructions and approval! LD WEST has the right to deny any unsolicited returns.

Exchanges/Credits (US & Canada Only)

You have 14 calendar days to exchange an item or receive an in-store credit (minus shipping charges) from the day you received your item based on the tracking information of your package.

All clearance items, warehouse clearance items, heavily discounted sale items (over 15% off the regular retail price such as Black Friday, Boxing Day, Anniversary Sales, etc) as is items and final sale items are not eligible for returns or exchanges, no exceptions.

Refunds For Approved Returned Items (Continental US & Canada Only)


Once we receive your returned item(s), we will inspect them and notify you of the status of your refund. This could take up to 5 business days from the day we receive the item(s). If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to the original method of payment. You will receive the refund within 7-10 business days depending on your card issuer’s policies. No refunds will be issued after 7 calendar days after you have received your item based on the tracking information. See our "Returns" policy.
